Leader/ Facilitator Training and Development

Leader Facilitator Training

 

Audience:

This program is designed for those whose responsibilities include leading or facilitating a natural work team, project team or task force, conducting meetings, and facilitating group decision making.

 

Overview:

The Leader/Facilitator Training program helps you develop the skills you need to lead or facilitate the work of a natural work team or project team, a task force, steering committee, often without the benefit of direct supervisory authority. To excel in this environment requires the ability to efficiently and effectively facilitate group processes and the work of teams.


Results:

  • Understand the role and behavior expected of the leader and the facilitator for meetings
  • Become familiar with a simple, practical framework for designing a meeting, group planning sessions and other facilitated events
  • Understand and be able to use a range of strategies and techniques for developing and maintaining consensus
  • Learn skills to deal with disruptive, difficult meeting behaviors and dominating team members
  • Gain an increased sense of confidence and leave energized to take on a greater leadership role within your organization

Format:

The Leader/Facilitator Training course consists of 2 days of classroom training followed by multiple sessions of facilitation coaching/ development with an experienced facilitator to develop the new skills acquired during training.
